WHAT TO EXPECT

An Ayurvedic cleanse consists of 3 phases: the pre-cleanse, cleanse, and post-cleanse.

PRE-CLEANSE

The first 3 days of the cleanse, you will focus on preparing your body to cleanse. You'll eliminate heavy, toxic, and processed foods, add healing foods, and start building a healthy daily routine that will support you throughout the remaining 11 days of the cleanse.

CLEANSE

Over the next 7 days, you will undergo a deep transformation as you eliminate old, unwanted mental, physical, and emotional waste. Your internal organs will purge toxins and remove excess doshas (imbalances), and your metabolism will become balanced as your digestive fire heals.

POST-CLEANSE

In the final 4 days of the cleanse, you will balance the nervous system and digestive fire, and rejuvenate the tissues. You'll follow a specific protocol to gradually return to the pre-cleanse diet, adding wholesome foods and beneficial herbs and spices to increase strength and enhance your immune system.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I’m traveling (or have an event, etc.) and I won’t be able to join the cleanse on the dates it’s being offered. Can I still do it?

A: Yes. Although the cleanse is scheduled on specific dates, your exact cleanse dates may need to be adjusted for a variety of reasons, and that is totally fine. We’ll discuss more about how/why you may need to adjust your particular dates during our initial cleanse meeting.

Q: I can’t make it to all of the live meetings. Will they be recorded?

A: Yes. All of the live meetings and yoga sessions will be recorded and posted within 24 hours. Also, if you have a question you’d like me to address in a meeting but can’t be there live, you can send it to me beforehand.

Q: I did the cleanse with you in the past. Do you still offer a discount for returning cleanse participants?

A: Yes. If you’ve done the cleanse with me before you are eligible for a discount. Email me to receive your discount code before you register.

Q: I have to work my regular schedule during the cleanse. Will that be okay?

A: In an ideal world, we would all take 2 weeks off to focus on our self care, cleansing, and rejuvenation. But that’s not possible for most of us. So while I recommend not scheduling extra activities, and carving out space to rest and relax as much as you can during the cleanse, it is designed to be done while going about your normal day-to-day activities.

Q: I hate cooking. Do I have to make all of my own food during the cleanse?

A: The best food we can consume, especially during a cleanse, is fresh, nourishing, and easy to digest. So, yes, it’s best if you prepare most of your meals. That being said, I will be sharing some very easy meal options that can be ready in 20 minutes, and taste delicious. You can use these easy options for the entire cleanse, or save them just for your busy days. I’ll share lots of tips to take the stress out of cooking.
