ESSENTIAL AYURVEDA FOR WOMEN

Understand your body, advocate for your needs, and support long-term vitality through classical Ayurveda, modern science, and women’s lived experience

6 weeks of core training + 12 months of deep-dive classes and women’s circles

Begins May 20, 2026

Your body is communicating. You can learn to understand its language.

If you’re feeling confused, frustrated, or disconnected from your body…

If you’ve been given conflicting advice, quick fixes, or dismissive explanations…

If you sense there has to be a deeper pattern behind what you’re experiencing...

This program is an invitation to slow down, zoom out, and finally see the bigger picture.

This is where things begin to change.

Essential Ayurveda for Women is a year-long journey designed to put your health back in your own hands.

We live in a culture that has taught women to look outside themselves for answers. To defer to systems that were never designed with women in mind. Over time, this creates a quiet but profound disconnection.

From your body.
From your needs.
From your own internal signals.

But your body is responding intelligently, even if it doesn’t feel that way right now.

Your body isn’t working against you. It’s trying to get your attention. And when you learn how to interpret those signals, everything changes.

This program gives you what most women have never been taught:

  • A clear understanding of your hormones and physiology
  • The ability to recognize underlying patterns, rather than chasing symptoms
  • Practical tools to regulate your nervous system and restore energy
  • The confidence to advocate for your needs — in healthcare and in your life
  • Ongoing support from a community of women who truly understand what you're navigating

This is not about adding more to your plate. It’s about finally understanding what’s already there, and working with your body instead of against it.

A grounded, integrative approach — not dogma, not guesswork

Drawing from Ayurveda — a 5,000-year-old system of medicine — this course is rooted in both ancient wisdom and modern physiology, research, and clinical understanding.

Nothing here is taught as dogma.

Instead of asking you to “take it on faith,” we focus on understanding why the body behaves the way it does, and how different systems of knowledge often describe the same patterns in different language.

Throughout the program, we explore:

▸ what modern medicine does well
▸ where research is still evolving
▸ where ancient frameworks offer clarity that science is only beginning to articulate

Ayurveda becomes a lens for interpretation, not a rejection of science.

If you’ve ever felt caught between holistic wisdom that feels ungrounded, and medical advice that feels incomplete, this program offers a bridge between the two.

What begins to shift when you understand, and listen to your body:

  • Your hormones become more stable and predictable
  • Sleep improves, and your energy becomes more consistent
  • Mood feels steadier and less reactive
  • You stop second-guessing your body, and start trusting it
  • You feel more confident advocating for your needs
  • You no longer feel alone in what you’re navigating

For many women, these shifts begin within weeks, and deepen over the course of the year.

Women in this program often say:

"I've gotten more help from Debby than from my doctors."

"That list [of menopause symptoms] blew me away. Why isn't this common knowledge? We've lost all of that. Seeing that correlation between menopause and my symptoms made me realize how let down I'd been by the medical community. I've gotten more help from Debby than from my doctors."

This is for you if...

You’re a woman in your 30s, 40s, or 50s who has always been curious, capable, and committed to taking care of everyone around you.

And yet, when it comes to your own body, you feel lost.

You’ve tried diets, cleanses, supplements, therapy, hormone protocols. Some things helped a little. Nothing truly addressed the underlying causes.

You’re navigating fatigue, hormonal shifts, weight changes, brain fog, or mood swings that no one seems to take seriously.

You want real education.

You want someone to explain what is actually happening in your body, and what to do about it at the root.

Maybe your doctor ran the labs, handed you a prescription for hormones or the pill, and sent you on your way with little explanation and no alternatives. As though adding more hormones to a depleted system is a solution, rather than a way to keep pushing through exhaustion a little longer.

We live in a culture of extraction. One that treats not only our planet, but women, as infinite resources. The unpaid labor of caregiving. The invisible emotional work. The expectation that you will pour yourself out for others and somehow still have something left.

This is the water we swim in. And it is exhausting. Over time, that exhaustion builds in your body.

But it doesn't have to be this way. This program helps you understand what’s driving your symptoms, so that you can begin to make changes that are sustainable. This is where you stop piecing it together alone.

Why this approach is different

This is not a quick fix or a supplement protocol.

It’s not a rigid system you have to follow perfectly.

And it’s not about overriding your body.

This is a process of learning how to work with your body — through rhythm, nourishment, awareness, and informed choice.

Where conventional medicine often focuses on managing symptoms, and the wellness industry often offers surface-level solutions, this program helps you understand root patterns — so change actually lasts.

"Why couldn't I have had this class 20 years ago? I could have saved myself so much grief."

"I used to think health meant being fit, having perfect blood work, having endless energy. But I've grown to understand it to be more of a mind-body connection — more internal than external, more of an inward job than an outside job. Truly loving yourself is a huge part of health, which we're not taught at all. Why couldn't I have had this class 20 years ago? I could have saved myself so much grief."

The female body is one of the most sophisticated systems on earth. It's time you learned how it works.

This program unfolds in two parts:

Part 1: The Core Training

Over six weeks, we'll peel back the layers... until the full picture finally comes into view. You'll walk away with a clinical understanding of your hormones, your metabolism, and your nervous system that no one ever gave you.

Class 1

Women's Health Problems: Exploring the Root Causes

May 20, 12pm-2pm CDT

In this foundational class, we zoom out from individual symptoms and look at the bigger story of women’s health. Together we explore how patriarchy, the loss of women’s healing lineages, gaps in modern medical research, and the stress of contemporary life have all shaped the way women feel in their bodies today.

Class 2

Hormonal Wisdom

May 27, 12pm-2pm CDT

In this class, you’ll learn how your hormones work not in isolation, but as part of a dynamic ecosystem shaped by stress, nourishment, daily rhythms, and the world around you. We explore estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, cortisol, thyroid hormones, and more through both science and Ayurveda, helping you understand the deeper patterns behind imbalance.

Class 3

The Endocrine System

June 3, 12pm-2pm CDT

In this class, we explore the entire hormonal communication network: the thyroid, adrenals, pancreas, ovaries, pituitary, pineal gland, and more. You'll learn how these organs work together to regulate your energy, metabolism, stress response, mood, and menstrual cycle.

Class 4

Metabolic Health

June 10, 12pm-2pm CDT

In this class, we explore metabolism through both Ayurveda and modern science. From Agni, the digestive fire, to blood sugar, insulin resistance, metabolic flexibility, and the foods that truly nourish women’s bodies. You’ll learn what supports metabolic health, what weakens it, and how to stabilize your blood sugar to support hormonal health.

Class 5

The Deeper Tissues & Subtle Doshas

June 17, 12pm-2pm CDT

In this class, we move beneath symptoms and surface imbalances into the deeper strata of the body: the dhatus (tissues) and the subtle doshas of ojas, tejas, and prana. You’ll learn how blood, muscle, fat, bone, and reproductive tissues each reflect your hormonal and metabolic health, and how depletion or stagnation in these layers shows up in your symptoms.

Class 6

Nourish Your Nervous System

June 24, 12pm-2pm CDT

In this class, you’ll learn how the nervous system and endocrine system mirror one another, and why regulating prana, tejas, and ojas is essential for hormonal balance. We explore stress physiology, the autonomic nervous system, the three major stress patterns in women’s lives, and an Ayurvedic view of burnout and autoimmune tendencies.

By the end of six weeks, the bigger picture comes into focus. Women leave with a real understanding of their bodies, and a clearer picture of the gaps in conventional care that so many of us have fallen through.

For the first time, they have a foundation on which to rebuild their health. They know what their body needs, what to watch for, and how to slow the aging process and actually feel good living their lives.

Hi, I’m Debby.

Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner, yoga therapist, and women's health educator.

When I first studied Ayurveda in New Mexico, one of my teachers told our class: "If you want to practice alternative medicine, you'll need to specialize in women's health."

She was right. After more than a decade of Ayurvedic practice, nine out of ten of my clients are women. They come because Western medicine hasn't been able to help them, or hasn't even taken their suffering seriously.

Hormonal imbalances, thyroid issues, PCOS, endometriosis, fertility concerns, perimenopause, metabolic issues. Real suffering, often met with a prescription and a dismissal.

That gap between what women are living and what they're actually being offered sent me into a period of deep research and reflection. What I uncovered was fascinating and, honestly, infuriating. So much of what women live with every day has roots that most of us were never taught about.

That question — why is medicine failing women so profoundly, and what will actually help? — is at the heart of this course.

I believe your symptoms are communication. Your body is wise. And you deserve real answers. Ones that actually address the roots.

This program is the education I wish every woman had access to.

"Weaving the recommended daily rituals into my schedule has had positive effects. Pranayama has definitely helped me with hot flashes, and although I still struggle with some of the practices, the effects just recently have been close to miraculous. Just this past week: on the evenings that I included abyanga (self-massage) I had zero or maybe 1 wake up due to night sweats. It was so nice to wake up and realize I had slept soundly!!!"

Carol Reynolds

""I think the most important thing you said is you have to approach this with kindness to yourself and kindness to your body, and not fight your body and wonder why your body's not cooperating. Your body's doing the best it can in very crazy circumstances. This whole class has helped me kind of figure out how it got there in the first place. It's hard to undo it later. But mainly I've gotten the stress under control. That's a big first step."

Frequently Asked Questions

When do the monthly deep dives and Women's Circles meet after the six-week training?

At the start of the six-week training, I survey the group to find times that work best for everyone's schedule. Depending on what the group responds, and figuring in my own schedule, meeting times may shift month to month, but I give plenty of advance notice so you can plan ahead. I do this so as many people as possible can attend live, though all sessions are recorded if you can't make it. The Women's Circles especially are designed around live participation; the conversation and connection that happen in real time are a big part of what makes them valuable.

How much time will this course take?

The program has two phases. The first six weeks are the core training. Each weekly class runs two hours with a short break in the middle. After that, we'll move into twelve monthly in-depth classes on specific topics (2 hours each) along with monthly Women's Circles, each about an hour. After the initial six weeks, there are about three hours of content per month. You'll also have access to all recordings for as long as I host the program, so you can revisit any session at your own pace or catch up if life gets in the way.

Can I sign up later?

Possibly, but I'm not sure when I'll offer this course live again, and I can't guarantee the price will stay the same. If this feels right for you, this round is a good time to join. You'll receive all future updates to the program and maintain access to the recordings for as long as I host it.

Would it be easier just to see you one-on-one?

This course was designed to help my one-on-one clients go deeper into this content than we have time for individually. Ayurveda is a science that honors the individual, so I'll always recommend private sessions to address your specific needs. When clients come to those sessions having already invested time in learning and applying these principles, we get so much more out of our time together.

Are the classes in person at a location, or all online?

All of the classes for this course are online, so you can participate from anywhere. Also, all of the classes will be recorded and posted in case you have to miss a class.
