Ayurveda is often introduced through food lists, dosha quizzes, and rules about what you “should” or “shouldn’t” be doing. But without a deeper understanding of why those recommendations exist, the teachings can feel confusing, restrictive, or overwhelming.
Foundations of Ayurveda is a spacious, accessible introduction to Ayurveda that helps you understand how your body actually works — so you can make informed, intuitive choices that support your health over time.
Instead of more rules or conflicting advice, you’ll gain a framework that helps you:
This course is designed for people who want to work with their bodies — not control them — and who are ready to build a more sustainable, respectful relationship with their health.

Over two live, in-depth classes, we’ll explore:
You’ll discover an embodied understanding of Ayurveda, enabling you to apply it to real life in a way that’s flexible, seasonal, and appropriate for modern living.
Two live online classes - 2 hours each
Taught via Zoom
Includes time for questions, reflection, and integration
Recordings provided for those who can’t attend live.
This course is taught live to preserve the relational, nuanced nature of Ayurveda — but you’ll also have access to the recordings to revisit the material at your own pace.

In this class, we’ll focus on building a clear foundation, so Ayurveda makes sense.
You'll learn:
What health means in Ayurveda
A deep dive into Vata, Pitta, and Kapha: the energies of movement, transformation, and structure
Understanding your Ayurvedic constitution and present imbalances
How digestion shapes physical and emotional health
We’ll focus on practical application — how to work with digestion, food, and daily rhythms.
You'll learn:
Gentle, effective ways to remove Ama (toxins)
Supporting agni without extremes
Nutrition principles that apply to all doshas
Lifestyle rhythms that support long-term balance

This course is for you if:
No prior experience with Ayurveda is required.
Please note: due to the nature of this course and immediate access to content and links/recordings, enrollment is non-refundable. If you’re unsure whether this course is a good fit, I encourage you to reach out with questions before enrolling.
This course is not a certification or practitioner training. It is a foundation — one you can build on for years.
